A Dutch Delegation Visits Kerbala University

Kerbala University received a Dutch delegation from the Netherlands embassy in Iraq to advance the joint cooperation between Kerbala University and other institutions in the Netherlands in the fields of renewable energy, agriculture, and animal wealth.

The president of Kerbala University, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Saadi, stated that the Dutch delegation discussed the different possible scientific and research cooperation between Kerbala University and other universities from the Netherlands. The president of Kerbala University also said that the initial agreement between Kerbala University and the Dutch delegation included scientific cooperation and exchange of expertise in the fields of agriculture, animal wealth, and renewable energy.

The head of the Dutch delegation, Mr. Martin Krohn, stated that the aim of the visit is to strengthen the cooperation between universities in the Netherlands and Kerbala University. Furthermore, he stated that the visit included meetings with college deans as well as students and researchers from Kerbala University. The delegation also visited different facilities in the university to establish the different aspects of cooperation in the fields of agriculture and environmental engineering. Mr. Martin praised Kerbala University for its persistence in strengthening its scientific cooperation and its openness to the society and its needs.
