University of Kerbala
A research team from the Plant Protection Department at the Faculty of Agriculture – the University of Kerbala has published a scientific paper entitled “the first diagnosis in Iraq of the insect parasite Dichrogaster modesta (Gravenhorst, 1829) (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae: Cryptinae). in the journal ECOLOGY, ENVIRONMENT AND CONSERVATIO, which is classified within the Scopus database.
The research team consists of Dr. Ali Abdul Hussein Karim, Dr. Sinai Muslim Abd, Assistant Lecturer Raad Karim and other researchers.
The aim of the study is surveying and diagnosing the most important parasitic insects in Kerbala governorate, which are considered beneficial insects and have importance in pest control biology.
The research team continues the research work in this field and in cooperation with researchers from outside Iraq and researchers from other Iraqi universities in order to conduct in-depth studies in the field of agricultural and research development.
