College of Pharmacy at University of Kerbala organized a seminar on the latest developments in the treatment of cardiovascular disease with the participation of researchers from University of Kerbala and Karbala Health Department.
A scientific symposium at University of Kerbala to discuss the therapeutic developments of the diseases of pressure and Fibrillation
The symposium which held under the slogan (new in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases) and in cooperation with the Imam Al-Hussein Medical City aimed to see the latest developments in the treatment of pulmonary hypertension and treatment of atrial auricular and review the latest developments and ways to treat blood pressure disease and its impact on human health, and discuss the latest ways Prevention of blood pressure.
The seminar included two axes: high pulmonary pressure and treatment of atrial fibrillation, The participants discussed the most important preventive and therapeutic aspects related to the field of blood pressure, such as the study of the causes of its spread locally and globally, the association of blood pressure with obesity, the research of causes of infection in children and adolescents, and the impact of blood pressure on other organs such as the heart, kidneys and eyes.
The researchers called for keeping up with the scientific developments in the developed world in order to give the correct diagnosis of this type of disease. And to focus on public health awareness programs that encourage the behavior of a healthy lifestyle to prevent high blood pressure and moderate exercise daily, and stressed the need for awareness of periodic testing and early detection of pressure, and encourage scientific studies to determine the prevalence of blood pressure disease and follow the response to treatment , Raising public awareness, participating in health education and communicating new treatments to relevant health practitioners, as well as stressing the importance of physicians in spreading a culture of awareness of the disease that is widespread among adults.
For his part, the Dean of the college of Pharmacy, Dr. Ahmed Saleh Al-Khazali said that the College seeks to improve the reality of health and scientific products in the province of Karbala especially and Iraq in general. Pointing to the need to improve the results of control of high blood pressure in the community, and improve the practice of doctors treated for high blood pressure based on modern guidelines, explaining that the early detection of hypertension is the most important step in treatment, especially that the symptoms of hypertension do not appear clearly, but lies in the body years before they appear after you can control the symptoms of the body.
