An M.A. Thesis Discussing Molecular Basis for Genetic Variants

Faculty of Medicine- Kerbala University has discussed an M.A. thesis concerning Molecular Basis for Genetic Variants of the Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor in Diabetic Foot Ulcers and their Association with Oxidative State . The study presented by the M.A. student Saja Talib Al-Jahshi aims at investigating the most important biochemical factors and their association with diabetic foot ulcers and verifying the molecular basis of genetic variables and vascular endothelial growth factor  in diabetic foot ulcers and its relation with oxidative state. It also sheds light on the relation between chemical and molecular analyses in diabetic foot ulcers patients in comparison to the diabetic mellitus type 2.

The study explains the relation between chemical and molecular analyses in patients with ulcers and identifying the factors that lead to the development of the understanding of the disease. And the most important growth factor for endothelial vascularization and genetic polymorphism associated with the exposure to diabetic ulcers in relation with other genotypes.
