Kerbala University Holding a Course entitled “Diseases of the maxillary joint and its relationship to diseases of the neck, head and limbs”

With the participation of a number of researchers and specialists, the Faculty of Dentistry at Kerbala University has hold a course entitled “the relationship of diseases of the maxillary joint to neck, head and limb diseases“.

      The course includes a discussion of the relationship between diseases of the temporomandibular joint and neck, shoulder and back pain that are caused by systemic diseases that affected them. It explains the pathological association between them by the spasms of skeletal muscles and the chewing muscles branching from them.

     The session shows the relationship of vitamin D deficiency and its effect on the joints, bones and skeletal muscle spasms. The lecturer  displays the correct way to sleep and the damage that occurs in the case of sleeping in the wrong way, and accurate diagnosis of cases of joint pain and methods of treatment and prevention.

      The aim of the course is informing doctors and the community of cases for the purpose of medical and scientific knowledge and to educate the community about these medical conditions for the purpose of prevention.
