Kerbala University Organizing an Electronic Workshop on the Efficiency and Competencies of Teaching

The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Science at the University of Kerbala has organized an electronic workshop entitled “Teaching Efficiency and Teaching and Teaching Competencies (with competencies) through the electronic FCC platform, in which Dr. Zuhair Saleh Majhool, Dr. Khalil Hamid Muhammad Ali and Assistant Professor Linda Mahmoud Dawood have deliverd the lecture, and with the participation of a large number of Iraqi university professors.
The workshop aims at introducing the concept of teaching competencies and their importance in the modern era to better educational outcomes.
it presents a brief history of teaching, the concept of competence and competence, the competencies of a successful teacher, the concept of pedagogy, teaching, and approach, and teaching goals and teaching competencies as well as theories and characteristics of teaching competencies.
The workshop stresses the necessity of moving to teaching with competencies gradually, emphasizing teaching the competencies that society needs according to the geographical area and its requirements, and the necessity of coordination between the ministries of education and higher education to establish the rules of teaching with competencies because of its importance in building a creative and productive thinking generation.
