Kerbala University’s International Journal of Modern Science succeeded in becoming a Scopus indexed journal. The editor-in-chief, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Lettif, stated that the journal was able to become a Scopus indexed journal because of the collaboration that happened between the researchers in Kerbala University and other Iraqi universities, as well as the inclusion of 43 scientists as editors in the journal from USA, UK, France, Russia, China, India, and other countries. Dr. Ahmed also said that becoming a Scopus indexed journal will raise the impact factor of the journal. Furthermore, publishing will not be limited to Iraqi researchers, but also researchers from around the world.
