University of Kerbala Occupying the ranks 11th in the Scopus classification out of 128 Public and Private Universities

With hard efforts and continuous follow-up by university lectyrers, Kerbala University occupies the 11th out of 128 public and private universities in the Scopes classification within the global rankings,
The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Basem Al-Saedi, says that Kerbala University, with its scientific and academic effort, is able to compete and lead most Iraqi universities in the field of scientific research, as well as to achieve many scientific and urban achievements, the latest of which is the university’s obtaining this advanced position among Iraqi universities, emphasizing that this classification aims to encourage the dissemination of information on global publishing sites, and it classifies universities according to the information about them and related to them available on the electronic platforms.
He explains that this great achievement indicates the existence of well-thought-out plans for the university in the process of being classified within the international classifications, appreciating the role of the university’s staff and their formations in achieving this achievement, which is the fruit of a great effort made by researchers and faculty at the university.
Dr. Basem Al-Saedi calls the teachers on continuing their works through electronic education in light of the Corona pandemic, as well as to supervise the conduct of final examinations for graduate and undergraduate students in order to complete the requirements of the this year.
