University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A Thesis entitled the Role of Modern Technology in Diagnosing and full Molecular Characterization of Viruses

College of Agriculture / University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A thesis which is entitled “the Role of Modern Technology in Diagnosing and full Molecular Characterization of Viruses”.The study, presented by Maryam Hashim Musa Al-Helou, aims at identifying the community of viruses that infect okra crop and evaluating an integrated control program against them.
The study recommends the importance of applying NGS technology using Metatranscriptomics method in diagnosing plant viruses that infect other agricultural crops in Iraq.
