Kerbala University Discussing an MA Thesis on Evaluating the Financial Soundness of Banks

Faculty of Administration and Economics/ Kerbala University has discussed the M.A thesis which is entitled “Evaluation of the Financial Soundness of Banks: An Applied Comparative Study of a Sample of Commercial Banks for the Iraq Stock Exchange for the Period (2005-2019)”,
The thesis, submitted by Athraa Shaheed Kadhim Al-Khalidi, aims at shedding light on the cognitive and philosophical aspects of the financial soundness of banks at the level of commercial banks in Iraqi market.
It deals with the issue of financial soundness of fundamental importance with the presence of banking influences and with all the forces and trends it carries, as the banking environment surrounded by many challenges, financial problems and shocks emerged.
The findings of the analysis assets that a sample of the investigated banks exceeded the minimum liquidity in varying proportions, and this discrepancy is due to the bank policy in capital management.
The study recommends that banks should pay attention to cash liquidity and employ financial abundance.
