College of Education for Pure Sciences \/ University of Kerbala has discussed the Ph.D. dissertation which is entitled “physiological and biochemical criteria and effect of polymorphism (397pvuII, 351xbaI) of ER-\u03b1 gene in women with uterine fibrosis in holy Karbala Governorate”. <\/span>
\nThe study, submitted by Thanaa Abdul-Sada Khaddam, aims at knowing the reason for the increase in cases of uterine fibrosis so as to know and the effect of uterine fibrosis on some physiological criteria (PRG, E, LH, FSH) and hormonal receptors for estrogen and progesterone. <\/span>
\nThe dissertation recommends studying polymorphism of ER-\u03b1 gene in more than one governorate to obtain large population groups to ensure repetition of genetic patterns.<\/span><\/p>\n
