Head of Petroleum Engineering Department \/ College of Engineering \/ University of Kerbala, Dr. Farhan Lafta Al-Taie, participates with a research team from Russia and Iraqi researchers on current developments in uses and effects of phase change materials integrated with solar chimneys.<\/span><\/p>\n

The research, which is entitled ” current development, utilization and effects of phase change materials integrated with solar chimney: A comprehensive review”, published in Journal of Energy Storage with a high impact factor and clarivate, aims at demonstrating growing need for sustainable energy solutions in building design by integrating phase change materials with solar chimney systems, in order to enhance thermal performance and raise energy efficiency.<\/span>
\nThe research recommends the importance of conducting more specialized research in this aspect, as well as the importance of developing smart control systems in them in order to improve their performance to reach ideal building designs in this regard.<\/span><\/p>\n
