College of Law, University of Kerbala has discussed the Ph.D dissertation which is entitled “Criminal Liability for Offences in the Energy Sector : A Comparative Study”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Being submitted by Esraa Hussein Muhammad Ali, the study aims at addressing arbitrarily of legal texts related to protection of electrical energy among a group of laws, in addition to shed light on reasons of absence of Ministry of Electricity Law from criminal treatment of violations affecting electrical energy.<\/span>
\nThe study concludes that electrical energy faces many attacks that affect special value of electricity facility, so the legislator in many countries aims at enacting special laws criminalizing these attacks in addition to general texts.<\/span><\/p>\n
