{"id":13256,"date":"2025-08-31T09:20:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-31T06:20:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uokerbala.edu.iq\/en\/?p=13256"},"modified":"2025-08-31T09:20:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-31T06:20:12","slug":"university-of-kerbala-discussing-an-m-a-thesis-entitled-effect-of-doping-by-copper-oxide-properties-of-zinc-oxide-nanoparticles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uokerbala.edu.iq\/en\/university-of-kerbala-discussing-an-m-a-thesis-entitled-effect-of-doping-by-copper-oxide-properties-of-zinc-oxide-nanoparticles\/","title":{"rendered":"University  of Kerbala Discussing an M.A Thesis entitled   Effect of Doping  by Copper Oxide Properties of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">College of Science _ University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A thesis which is entitled&#8221; Effect of Doping by Copper Oxide Properties of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Being submitted by Wajdan Amer Abdul Zaid, the study aims at preparing thin films using sol-gel technique and examining their structural, optical, and electrical properties in formation of gas sensors.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The thesis evaluates performance of films used in manufacture of sensors, such as hydrogen sulfide and nitrogen dioxide gas sensors.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The results show that copper oxide doping contribute to reducing energy gap and enhance sensitivity of films. The 0.75% doped sample achieved highest response to both gases at an optimal operating temperature of 150\u00b0C, with a sensitivity of 241.81% for hydrogen sulfide and 194% for nitrogen dioxide.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">The thesis confirms possibility of employing these results in developing highly efficient nanoscale gas sensors.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; College of Science _ University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A thesis which is entitled&#8221; Effect of Doping by Copper Oxide Properties of Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles&#8221;.
