With the participation of a number of researchers and specialists, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Kerbala has held a seminar entitled (Understanding Deepfake Technology).<\/span>
\nThe seminar has been presented by Dr. Ali Reda Hassoun, in which he has discussed the mechanisms of the work of GAN neural networks in swapping faces in videos and ways to identify them which is widely used in hoaxes and financial fraud.<\/span>
\nThis technology builds a completely new video of the person by using previous videos to provide it with a GAN artificial neural networks in direct competition with one another \u2013 generator and discriminator.<\/span><\/p>\n
