The Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Kerbala University, Prof. Dr. Wefaq Jubouri Al-Bazi, has participated in a workshop on the government program to reduce biological threats (BTRP).<\/span>
\nThe workshop aims at training a group of veterinarians from all Iraqi governorates to raise awareness of zoonotic and transboundary animal diseases and early reporting in the field.<\/span>
\nThe workshop ends up with a number of recommendations including the epidemiology curriculum as a separate course for fifth stage of veterinary medicine students, holding workshops and training courses, and developing the capabilities of veterinarians in this field.<\/span><\/p>\n
