Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, has organized a training course which is entitled” blotting types and uses”. The course aims at identifying the latest and most accurate methods for the detection of DNA, RNA and protein by Western Plot, Northern Plot and Southern Plot.<\/span>
\nThe course includes a detailed explanation of Northern blot as a technique used in molecular biology to study gene expression by determination of RNA, and an explanation of Southern blot, which is a method used in molecular biology to detect DNA in a specific DNA sample.<\/span>
\nIt focuses on explaining Western Blot method, which is one of the biotechnologies, (Western Blot) (also known as Immunoblot Blot) is a method for detecting a specific protein in a tissue sample or extract.<\/span><\/p>\n
