Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences \/ University of Kerbala, in cooperation with the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology – German University \/ Cairo, has organized an electronic scientific symposium which is entitled (Antioxidants and their Role in Maintaining Better Health). It has been delivered by Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Shazly from Faculty of Pharmacy and Biotechnology, Cairo University \/ Arab Republic of Egypt and Dr. Yasmine Khudair Khalaf, Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Kerbala.<\/span>
\nThe symposium aims at introducing the importance of antioxidants in maintaining health. It also deals with the role of oxidation processes by reviewing the role of free radicals and their sources from smoking, pollution, radiation, as well as the unhealthy lifestyle.<\/span><\/p>\n
