University of Kerbala, represented by President of the University, Prof. Dr. Basim Khalil Nile Al-Saedi, has participated in the first national conference to prevent extremism and terrorism, which has been held in the presence of the Hussainiya Holy Shrine and under the patronage of the Hussainiya Shrine.<\/span>
\nThe conference witnesses the participation of a number of Iraqi university presidents, officials of government departments and security services, as well as researchers and academics from inside and outside Iraq.<\/span>
\nThe conference includes a number of researches that deals with several axes concerned with building individuals and society as well. It consists of social, psychological, political, economic, intellectual, and ideological and security axes. It aims at solving societal problems, achieving civil-community peace, and confronting extremism in order to direct human being to the right path.<\/span><\/p>\n
