Faculty of Agriculture – University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A. thesis which is entitled (the effect of ground addition of Algahumic and Bactosan fertilizer and spraying with zinc on growth and yield of broccoli plant Brassica oleracea var. Italica). It is presented by Mohammed Mahmoud Hamid Abbas Al-Rubaie.<\/span>
\nThe study aims at knowing the effect of different levels of the two organic compounds, Algahumic and Bactosan, and spraying with chelated zinc in improving the growth characteristics, yield characteristics and quality of broccoli plant.<\/span>
\nThe thesis concludes that these additives gave a good yield and quality despite the crop being grown in somewhat saline soil and under irrigation conditions with saline well water.<\/span><\/p>\n
