Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences \/ University of Kerbala, in cooperation with Directorate of Civil Defense in Karbala, has organized a training course which is entitled (Types of fire extinguishers and methods of their use), with the participation of a number of teachers and students.<\/span>
\nThe course aims at introducing fire extinguisher and how to use it to extinguish fires caused by bad accidents or electrical shorts.<\/span>
\nThe session shows that the extinguisher cylinder is made of metal filled with some chemicals or water and is used to put out small fires before the flames spread in the place.<\/span>
\nIt deals with the important role played by fire extinguishers, as their presence is necessary and inevitable in closed and small places, because of their ability to extinguish fires at their beginnings before the escalation and spread of flames.<\/span>
\nThe course emphasized the need for the extinguisher to be present in places and buildings for the purpose of extinguishing fire and preserving property<\/span><\/p>\n
