Faculty of Administration and Economics \/ University of Kerbala has organized a symposium on electronic extortion in cooperation with provincial police command and in presence of university employees.<\/span><\/p>\n

The symposium includes definition of electronic crime and mechanisms of precaution against electronic blackmail..<\/span><\/p>\n

The symposium witnesses implementation of some steps that raise level of information security for users of social networking sites and provide protection for user accounts against hacking.<\/span><\/p>\n

The symposium has been attended by professors specializing in information security from Information Technology Department of Intelligence Agency in Karbala, as well as some representatives of civil society organizations concerned with defending women’s rights.<\/span><\/p>\n
