Faculty of Nursing \/ University of Kerbala has organized a workshop on mechanism of obtaining program accreditation for Iraqi nursing colleges in order to achieve requirements and standards of quality and suitability of these programs to labour market needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop aims at introduceing the importance of program accreditation for nursing colleges and basic steps related to obtaining program accreditation.<\/span>
\nThe workshop adresses heads of academic branches, faculty members, and members of Quality Assurance and University Performance Division.<\/span>
\nThe workshop axes includes introducing how to prepare a self-assessment report and the importance of conducting awareness campaigns to introduce concepts of program accreditation and quality assurance to teachers, staff, students and beneficiaries of stakeholders in labour market.<\/span>
\nThe organizers recommend the need to form committees to take first steps for approval and to define roles of the committees to facilitate their tasks in achieving the set goals.<\/span><\/p>\n
