President of University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Basim K. Nile, receives Sultan of the Alavi Bohras to discuss admission of a number of members of Bohra sect to study at University of Kerbala, in presence of vice President of University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Akram Mohsen Al-Yasiri.<\/span>
\nThis meeting comes after the University has announced allocation of 199 courses for foreign students as part of “Study in Iraq” initiative launched by Ministry of Higher Education and Higher Research, represented by His Excellency Minister Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, at the beginning of this year.<\/span>
\nDr. Akram Al-Yasiri says that the visit is to inform the delegation of the details of the study initiative launched by the ministry and mechanism of registration at the university by foreign students.<\/span>
\nAl-Yasiri explains that the university has provided all the necessary supplies to receive foreign students, and to overcome obstacles that may hinder registration process.<\/span>
\nThe visiting delegation expresses the desire to enroll in Arabic and Quranic studies, and other Islamic studies, due to scientific sobriety that University of Kerbala has. This is because it has great academic and scientific potential.<\/span>
\nThe delegation states that sobriety of outputs of educational process at University of Kerbala and the curricula used in it, reinforced the idea of \u200b\u200bopening channels of communication with the university.<\/span>
\nEarlier this year, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research launched “Study in Iraq” initiative to enhance academic reputation and cultural exchange between Iraq and countries of the region and the world.<\/span><\/p>\n
