Faculty of Management and Economics \/ University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A thesis on the use of time-oriented product life cycle budget and reverse engineering to support target costing technology\u00a0 to achieve a competitive advantage – an applied study of men’s clothing factory in Najaf.<\/span>
\nThe study, presented by Siham Abboud Hussein, aims at demonstrating the impact of this technology in achieving a competitive advantage centered on reducing cost and time, especially if time-oriented product life cycle budget and reverse engineering are employed to support the target costing technique.<\/span>
\nThe thesis includes using time as a cost vector in its application by reducing the cost of the product, reducing time and response in terms of producing the product and delivering it to the customer, as well as helping management in making various decisions by measuring the cost more accurately than traditional methods.<\/span>
\nThe study concludes that applying the target costing technique depends on the current cost of the product in terms of determining the target reduction, which in turn is calculated by applying time-oriented product life cycle budgeting technique.<\/span>
\nThe thesis recommends protecting local product from imported product and imposing taxes on the importer in a way that would have a positive impact on supporting local labour force and enhancing state revenues.<\/span><\/p>\n
