University of Kerbala ranks the eleventh locally in \u201c Classification of Arab Universities\u201d out of (19) Iraqi universities that participate in classification of 2023.<\/span>
\nThe classification is based on four main indicators, which includes education and learning, scientific research, creativity, leadership and innovation, international and local cooperation and community service, and each indicator is measured using nine criteria with that are chosen with great care.<\/span><\/p>\n

The classification aims at being a major motivator for academics in field of quality education and scientific research, and indicates the importance of universities transforming into third and fourth generation universities. The above aims at attracting distinguished professors to teach at universities, and students to join universities to study.<\/span>
\nIt is noteworthy that ” Classification of Arab Universities”, which emerges from General Secretariat of League of Arab States, Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) and Union of Arab Universities, presented this platform to include 115 universities from 16 Arab countries of the 2023, and 19 universities from Iraq participate in this classification.<\/span><\/p>\n
