Faculty of Science \/ University of Kerbala has organized an awareness symposium on chemical safety and security presented by Lieutenant Colonel Khudair Abbas and Major Firas Sadiq from Civil Defense Directorate, with participation of professors, employees and students.<\/span><\/p>\n

The symposium aims at educating participants on how to deal with hazardous materials in educational laboratories.<\/span>
\nThe symposium includes an explanation of types of hazardous materials and methods of dealing with them, and a detailed explanation of personal protective equipment inside laboratories and research centers. The symposium also focuses on training students on extinguishing fires through the use of different types of fire extinguishers.<\/span><\/p>\n
