Faculty of law \/University of Kerbala has discussed the PhD dissertation which is entitled “the role of applied sciences in criminal legal reasoning”, presented by Hassan Hadi Neama.<\/span>
\nThe study aims at demonstrating the role of integration between applied social sciences, such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry, and criminal law, especially in proving acts that law considers criminal.<\/span>
\nThe study concludes that there is a positive interaction between applied sciences and criminal law, since they are not inactive and self-sufficient sciences, but rather go beyond their jurisdiction to interact with law, especially in field of criminal evidence.<\/span>
\nThe study recommends the need for Iraqi legislator to amend relevant laws and include Directorate of Criminal Evidence within formations of Supreme Judicial Council.<\/span><\/p>\n
