Department of Biology \/ College of Education for Pure Sciences \/ University of Kerbala has organized a seminar on genetic mutations, their types and causes.<\/span>
\nThe seminar aims at explaining types of beneficial and harmful mutations, diseases resulting from them, and reasons for their occurrence in order to avoid causes that lead to induction of mutations.<\/span>
\nThe seminar includes a review of reasons for the current increase in cancerous and hereditary diseases such as thalassemia and hemophilia.<\/span><\/p>\n
