Qur’anic interpretation according to the People of the House, peace be upon them "Linguistic differences as a model"

Abstract
The thesis dealt with the interpretation of the Qur’an according to the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, “linguistic differences as an example.” Given the importance of language in understanding the Holy Qur’an, it is the miraculous book of God, and its eternal message, “and its everlasting sign, and the permanent constitution of the Muslims, and then it is the highest crown of Arabic, and its highest illustrative example, and since this great Qur’an was revealed in the language of the Arabs, and it followed their path in speech”; “Whoever undertakes to interpret it accurately and correctly had to rely on Arabic, understand its methods, and have access to its expressive characteristics.” The study of these differences came in the light of the interpretation of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him) and the opinions of commentators and linguists, as they took care to clarify the similar words in the Holy Qur’an, so they (peace be upon them) interpreted the Qur’anic words by seeking the subtle differences between their meanings, in addition to adopting the context of the Qur’anic text, and with succession Over the centuries and moving away from the era of text, this phenomenon of language has been considered a subject of research by researchers, and it represents an aspect of significance and clarification of the relationship of a word to its meaning, which is a variable relationship and not fixed, so ancient linguists and modern ones directed their attention to studying meaning and extracting precise meanings through differentiation. Among what is indicated by words that are thought to be synonymous due to the concealment of those meanings – except for the People of the House (peace be upon him) and speakers and researchers of the language and its sciences – this similarity in connotations and closeness in meanings was noticeable among the ancient Arabs, but with the passage of time and the length of the era, and due to frequent use, the connotation developed. For those words, people began to use them with one meaning, not caring about the subtle differences between them and not taking into account the differences between them according to their origin in the language, out of neglect or ignorance of them. Thus, several words with one meaning were synonymous as a result of the development in usage, not in the origin of the language.
