Abstract
The term “the rights of future generations” refers to all the peoples who will live on planet Earth in the future, and their rights are included within the third generation of human rights. They are collective rights, and they are rights of a common nature for humanity. There is no doubt that research into studying the international legal protection of generational rights Coming is one of the important topics that it is important to pay attention to at all times and places, because of its connection to multiple branches, whether natural, human, or economic. It has become part of the system of human rights, international law, and ethics. This connection and overlap between environmental and humanitarian concepts has led to the formation of new obligations. Recognizes these rights and fulfills the rights of future generations. Satisfies the requirements of current generations, and embraces legal and ethical issues by compensating for available opportunities, shouldering the burden, and sharing wealth and natural resources between present and future generations, to live comfortably in a dignified, quiet, and healthy life and to obtain levels of education and advanced technology.
This study included three chapters, the first: introducing the international legal protection of the rights of future generations, which was divided into two sections, the first the concept of international protection of the rights of future generations, and the second, the concept of international protection of the rights of future generations. Declarations that violating the rights of future generations entail the responsibility of the countries that violate these rights, so we propose activating the protection of the rights of future generations by the United Nations and all other international organizations, and an international agreement will be added regarding these rights and their protection, and it will be necessary to establish an international court specialized in protecting them. These rights and determine the international responsibility of states that affect this protection.
