Abstract
This study revolves around the theory of values among the Imamiyya and specifically by Sayyid Muhammad Taqi al-Modarresi, and its impact on deriving the jurisprudential rulings, by studying the dimensions of this theory and the need for it, and the mechanism of value thinking and how to organize the hierarchy of values, and presenting a number of jurisprudential applications from different chapters of jurisprudence, where the author of the theory benefited from the theory of values to reach the jurisprudential ruling. This study is interested in a number of topics that are an introduction to the study of the theory of values, such as the jurisprudential and fundamentalist theory, and the conditions of theorization, as well as the theory of objectives as it shares the premises and goals with the theory of values, but it differs from it in methodology, in addition to the methodological observations that are observed on the theory of objectives according to the theory of values.
