As part of strengthening cooperation between university of Kerbala and government institutions to develop infrastructure and vital projects, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, President of University of Kerbala, receives Eng. Abdul Ameer Al-Kharasan, Director of Water Resources _ Karbala.
During the meeting, they discuss mechanisms of supporting water projects in Karbala and ways to leverage the university’s scientific and research capabilities, particularly in fields of engineering, environment, and natural resources.
They also explain possibility of involving researchers in preparing technical and advisory studies that would contribute to improve water resources system and achieve sustainable management in line with current climate and environmental challenges.
Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali emphasizes that the university seeks to open opportunities for collaboration with all government institutions, enhancing its role as an effective scientific institution serving the community.

For his part, Director of Water Resources expresses his appreciation for the university’s role in supporting government efforts, emphasizing the importance of continuing this coordination and cooperation, so as to achieve sustainable development.
