College of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Kerbala organizes a symposium which is entitled “cybersecurity awareness and digital data protection”.
The symposium, which is delivered by Dr. Mohammed Mohsin Al-Abadi, focuses on the importance of maintaining user privacy and how service providers handle data, in addition to data usage policies on some social media sites.

It also addresses protection mechanisms that help users avoid being victim to cyberattacks resulting from browsing the internet and social media in general. It reviews the most prominent and dangerous spyware programs that currently threaten digital security.
This symposium is part of the efforts made by the University to raise awareness of the importance of digital protection and ways to prevent cyberattacks.
