Being organized by University of Isfahan, University of Kerbala participates in the International Conference on Construction, Development, and Reconstruction of Holy Shrines Throughout History. Delegations from Iraqi, Arab, and foreign universities take part along with representatives of the holy shrines.
Dr. Muhammad Naji Hamoud, Director of Department of Construction and Projects; and Dr. Haider Naji Attia _ College of Engineering. chaired several sessions, in addition to present a scientific paper on challenges facing preservation of identity of Karbala.
One of the activities of the conference is holding a meeting between University of Kerbala and University of Isfahan regarding consolidating areas of joint scientific cooperation, particularly in expanding scope of cooperation in field of artificial intelligence applications, particularly in pharmaceutical production, medical engineering, and other fields. The meeting also focuses on items to be included in upcoming memorandum of understanding between the two universities.
