College of Education for Humanities, University of Kerbala organizes a scientific course on “Violence in Literature and Poetry,”
Being presented by Dr. Ali Kadhim Mohammed, Dr. Kareema Noumas Al-Madani, and Lect. Ahmed Zaki Ramadan, the course aims at shedding light on the concept of violence in literary and poetic texts, demonstrating its artistic and intellectual manifestations throughout different eras, as well as revealing its psychological and social dimensions and its impact on shaping literary discourse.
The course includes study of violence as a human phenomenon in literature, analysis of poetic and prose examples that addressed violence in its various forms, and discussing of artistic techniques employed by writers to express it, as well as its role in constructing poetic imagery and narrative texts.
