Karbala University discusses in a scientific study the mediating role of strategic flexibility
scientifically, the Faculty of Administration and Economics at Kerbala University discusses a mediating role of strategic flexibility in the relationship between TQM practices and sustainable organizational performance in an analytical exploratory study.
The study has submitted by PhD student Sahar Abbas Hussein which aims at testing the effect of TQM practices as an independent variable in sustainable organizational performance as an approved variable through the intermediate role of strategic flexibility, within TQM practices as represented by (leadership, strategic planning, customer focus, Information, analysis and improvement, focus on human resources, process management, and business results)
The study deals with intellectual questions that describe a reality in which it integrates (practices of comprehensive quality management, strategic flexibility and sustainable organizational performance), as the study addresses the industrial sector, which is one of the important sectors because of its impact on the economic, social and environmental aspects of the country, as well as its impact on other aspects.
The study ends up with the recommendation which states that including enhancing strategic flexibility is of importance as well as focusing on total quality management practices for their role in facing environmental and competitive changes in the long term, and that reflects on achieving sustainability in organizational performance.
