The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Karbala held a workshop on intelligent systems for the management of electrical networks and analysis of faults in renewable power generation systems.
The workshop, which was presented by Dr. Ali Jafar al-Husseini, dealt with the use of renewable power generation systems (wind turbines), how to deal with faults in the wind power grid and ways to provide safe, reliable and economical electricity.
The workshop discussed the stability and dynamism of electrical power systems and the analysis and analysis of faults by means of a supervisory control that determines the values of voltages and current when electrical faults occur and how to treat them to ensure the continuity of electricity generation and operation efficiently.
The workshop concluded that smart and environmentally friendly systems applications should be used for energy sustainability and availability from available and available sources, as well as the modernization of electric power supply systems so that they can operate efficiently and equipped with advanced monitoring and protection devices designed to operate their components.
The participants called for the use of renewable energy systems in Iraq to reduce the deficit in conventional power generation and to provide the national grid with clean energy.
