The Supervision and Scientific Assessment Authority of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has held the first virtual university festival of plastic arts via the electronic zoom platform.
The Head of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, Dr. Alaa Abdel-Hassan Attia, conveys in his speech the greeting of His Excellency the Minister Prof. Dr. Nabil Kadhim Abdel-Saheb to the participating universities and his sponsorship of the student activities axes and his emphasis on the need to pay great attention to students ’skills, indicating that the Ministry of Education’s keenness on this stems from the educational and cultural importance and its positive returns that leave an effective impact on the university community and contribute to the restoration of university life.
It is worth noting that the festival witnessed the participation of 53 governmental and private universities and faculties, with more than 300 paintings submitted by 178 male and female students, and the works are sorted and organized by the jury, who are professors and plastic artists who have ranked the best works and the first places for the participating universities.
