Keeping pace with the idea of communicating internationally and enhancing the experimental aspects in the field of scientific research, the Dean of the faculty of Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Laith Shaker Rashid Al-Qarawi, has discussed with a delegation from Zamzam Land Company, the representative of FOSROC in Iraq, which is specialized in construction chemicals.
The meeting includes reviewing ways of cooperation between the two parties, by providing additives for postgraduate and undergraduate students free of charge, setting up training programmes for teaching staff members, supporting the international conference that the faculty holds annually, reinforcing its study programmes, as well as holding scientific activities for both sides.
They agree to employ scientific engineering research in studying problems related to society. Conducting joint studies, providing opportunities in the field of training courses, and supporting researchers practically are also among the articles of the agreement.
