In order to expand the scope of science and knowledge, invest the skill and achieve the goals set, Faculty of Engineering has signed a memorandum of understanding with Karbala Center for Studies and Researches at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine.
The memorandum includes holding some training courses in educational fields, joint research, exchanging ideas, and social programs.
It also included cooperation in scientific fields through translating academic texts and texts, evaluating research and scientific studies, and inviting professors and experts of both parties to give lectures and participate in scientific seminars and conferences.
The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Laith Al-Qarawi, says that this agreement will mark the beginning of a fruitful cooperation between the two parties in order to raise the level of science and education in a way that serves the needs of the country at the present time. It also keeps pace with rapid development of knowledge through the use of a highly experienced partner locally and internationally.
The director of the center, Mr. Abdul-Amir Al-Quraishi, states that he is pleasure with this memorandum for what it will achieve in the future, and that the faculty of Engineering will be a strong partner in contributing to activate of all conditions of the agreement.
