Faculty of Nursing / University of Kerbala has organized a scientific course on food poisoning, with participating of professors and researchers.
The course which is entitled (Food Poisoning by Pathogenic Microorganisms and Chemicals and its Physiological Impact on the Digestive System), sheds light on the importance of the issue of food poisoning as a common disease resulting from eating food contaminated with harmful microorganisms or the toxins secreted by these organisms.
The lecturers explain that some cases of poisoning symptoms disappear automatically, while there are chronic cases that must be admitted to a hospital, and they indicate that feeling sick, vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal cramps are the traditional symptoms of food poisoning.
