Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences /University of Kerbala has organized an in-person training course which is entitled ( appropriate sample size and statistical analysis of its results) with participation of a number of teachers, graduate students and researchers.
The course aims at defining community, types of theoretical part, available and targeted communities, necessary steps in selecting a sample from each community, and focusing on laws that must be followed in determining size of sample in accordance to the nature of the research.
It deals with mechanism of using statistical equations and their application to extract the sample size for studies of different nature and practical application on Excel program and SPSS program to be appropriate in its results and generalized to the community drawn from it.
The course includes conducting a test for participants to determine sample sizes to study different societies.
