A Lecturer from University of Kerbala Publishes a Scientific Research in an International Journal within Scopus Containers

Dr. Atheer Hamid Odeh Al-Ghanimi from Faculty of Medicine, University of Kerbala has published a scientific research on the design and synthesis of a new innovative nanocomposite derived from iron oxide and one of the polymers in British Journal of Material Chemistry.
The research, which is entitled ultifunctional α-Fe2O3@PEDOT ore-Shell Nanoplatform for Gene and Photothermal Combination Anticancer Therapy, includes studying the effectiveness of the multifunctional nanocomposite in agricultural media and laboratory animals, as well as that the same prepared nanocomposite is used in laser wave therapy to kill cancer cells to overcome on the high toxicity of treatment with low concentrations.
It is noteworthy that the journal is published by British publishing house (the Royal Society of Chemistry) and is classified within Scopus and Clarivate database with an impact factor of 6.33.
