A Study at University of Kerbala Discussing the Impact of Cybersecurity on Organization Performance

Faculty of Administration and Economics / University of Kerbala has discussed “the impact of cybersecurity on performance of organization”, while recommending a number of measures to be taken to improve the level of cybersecurity in the organization.
The study submitted by (Rafid Abbas Hammoud) which is entitled (The Impact of Cybersecurity on Organization Performance – An Exploratory Study of Opinions of a Sample of Employees at Earthlink Company).
In his study, the researcher relies on cybersecurity as an independent variable with three dimensions (confidentiality, privacy, and reinforcement) and dependent variable on performance of the organization, which is determined by two dimensions (efficiency and effectiveness).
The study sheds light on variable of cybersecurity and its impact on performance of the organization by conducting research on a sample of employees at headquarters of Earthlink company in Baghdad.
B It is concluded that there is a significant impact relationship of cybersecurity on performance of the organization, and that cybersecurity explains a specific percentage of changes in the performance of the organization. The study recommends increasing attention to confidentiality and not exchanging secret password numbers of electronic systems of their employees, and paying attention to production plans for the organization’s operations because of their role in developing new services as they positively affect the efficiency of the organization.
