With the attendance of a number of teaching staff members of the and some specialists, College of Sciences- Kerbala University has organized a workshop entitled “the Principle of Chemical Security and Safety in Educational Laboratories”. It aims at acquainting the participates with the methods of safety and professional health in the laboratories. It also deals with the latest technical ways available so as to decrease the dander and spreading the culture of professional safety among workers.
It discusses the risks of using chemicals and most important precautionary measures to be taken in case of any accident, ways of dealing with such materials and their effects.
The workshop has recommended the urgent need for the protective equipment for workers in order to maintain the case and follow the roles of safety in the laboratory.
