The Iraqi state needs development plans in all fields to achieve sustainable development, including in the technological and scientific aspect for the development of industrial, agricultural, and animal products. Comprehensive sustainable development.
The main objective of this study is to highlight the need to develop development plans that are capable of developing productive capacities, supporting the transition towards a developed industry, creating decent job opportunities, enhancing social protection and family support, applying international labor standards and workers’ rights, improving the business environment, and emphasizing on Legal protection, and raising the efficiency of the government staff, in order to promote comprehensive development in all fields, and in particular to provide the opportunity, space and support for the advancement of the private sector, to take its natural place in the national industry and achieve sustainable development, and to achieve this goal, several factors must be achieved, namely:
1- Stimulating the role of the private sector to create new job opportunities. Encouraging foreign and domestic investment, facilitating the entry of technology, qualified foreign professional labor, and international concession contracts to improve the competitiveness of Iraqi exports. And interest in improving the ability of small and medium enterprises to export. Encouraging the introduction of technology through a legislative system that contributes to strengthening the national industry to achieve sustainable development
2- Enhancing the government-society dialogue by providing civil society organizations with programs, experiences and skills that improve their professional performance.
3- Investing in Iraqi diplomatic relations to build a scientific horizon and a diverse knowledge system.
4- Promoting development programs for the Iraqi media and dedicating programs to support sustainable development.
