Students of first stage of Faculty of Engineering / University of Kerbala presented a project to design an office of booking airline tickets.
The project consists of an administration building, two waiting spaces, a customer lounge, and a service building, as well as external spaces complementing the activities in the project.
This project comes within practical activities of students. It aims at developing their abilities to understand the concept of architectural spaces, methods of their design and integration, and mechanism of their production, starting from the idea, passing through selection of materials, the nature of their texture, and their employment in embodiment of architectural formations in a manner that meets functional requirements and provides a sense of comfort for the user.
These results reflect development of students’ capabilities and skills in field of creating architectural formations that combine principles of architectural formation and employing them according to requirements of the project.
