Australian Ambassador Visits the University of Kerbala

The president of Kerbala University, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Saadi, discussed with the Australian Ambassador the development of scientific cooperation in the fields of education and agriculture between the University of Kerbala and Australian universities.
Upon meeting the Australian Ambassador, the president of the university stated that the meeting concentrated on the ways of developing the scientific and academic collaboration between the University of Kerbala and Australian universities, specifically in the fields of education and agriculture. He also mentioned that he and the ambassador discussed the prospects of training the staff in the University of Kerbala as well as developing the training programs.
The Australian Ambassador to Iraq, Ms. Joanne Loundes, stated that the purpose of the visit to the University of Kerbala is to observe the academic programs that are offered in the university as well as to discuss the prospects of scientific collaboration between Kerbala University and Australian universities. She also indicated the importance of Kerbala University in training and educating the Iraqi youth as well as reinforcing the economy of Iraq.
