Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Hayder Abed Dhahad, and President of University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Basem K. Nile, open research laboratories of College of Veterinary Medicine after their rehabilitation.
Dr. Haider Abd Dhahad states that Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research continues its cooperation with international institutions to reach highest levels of safety and security in research laboratories in Iraqi universities.
He adds that the Ministry works on implement (15) projects related to scientific laboratories and chemicals through small grants from international institutions.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Basem K. Nile remarks that the process of renovating laboratories is an important step to reduce the threats of accidents, pollution, and the risks of bioterrorism.
He stresses that rehabilitating laboratories represents a moral and legal commitment that contributes to improve science, community service, and environmental protection.
Dean of College of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Wefaq Al-Bazi, presents a brief idea on stages and details of rehabilitation of research laboratories.
